Beverly M. Asks: Is it possible
to go to an all inclusive in Fiji for under $10,000, and not stay in a dive?
Dear Beverly,
Of course! In fact the Tokoriki Island Resort is an All-
Inclusive private island resort with individual beachfront bures. I was able to find Launch transfers to and
from the island, 5 nights at the resort, and the all-inclusive plan for around
$2000 per person + airfare! That is a
Great deal for Fiji!
Best Regards,
Katie

Random Acts of Travel, Maui "The Valley Isle" By Katie Colling
by Rich & Katie on 05/19/10
I never felt more
at peace than I did on Maui. It is one
of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
On the
north-western side of Maui is Lahaina.
In 1846, some 400 whaling ships visited Lahaina. It served as a safe harbor where ships would
set off to hunt whales in the North Pacific. The town provided a place to
anchor, restock supplies, and get medical attention.
Today, Maui is a
modern and thriving destination, with accommodations and attractions that make
it one of the most dreamed about destinations in the world. Maui has been voted
Best Island in the World thirteen times.
Here are a few
things I suggest trying while you are on The Valley Isle: Kobe's Japanese Steak
House in downtown Lahaina; The Napili Kai Resort Foundation's Keiki
(children's) Luau, it's absolutely adorable; Pineapple Wine from Tedeschi
Winery in upcountry Maui; and Maui's best swap meet, Saturday mornings on
Puunene Avenue.
Stay at The
Sheraton Maui Resort in an oceanfront room right next to Black Rock and every
evening you can watch the Native Hawaiians cliff dive right from your
balcony.
